With the increasing use of web-based apps, it is becoming more and more important to test them in the way they are actually used - in a real browser. This OpenNTF webinar will introduce you to some of the basics of automated testing and in particular, End-to-End testing. Using the popular Open-Source Cypress app, we will show you how to easily test the overall application functionality - rather than just the code itself - thereby ensuring that the shipped application works as intended. Whether it is written using XPages, or a more modern framework such as React, Angular or Vue etc., as long as it runs in a browser, Cypress can usually test it! Our speakers will be Paul Harrison, an HCL Ambassador and a software developer at FoCul Ltd, and Martin Davies who has been working with Collaboration Solutions for over 25 years and who is currently the Delivery and Technical Lead at FoCul Ltd.
