OpenNTF October Webinar: Modern Observability for HCL Domino with Open Source and OpenTelemetry
Posted by
Jesse Gallagher
on
October 1, 2026
Modern Domino environments need more than traditional server monitoring. In this session, Daniel Nashed explains how Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, VictoriaLogs, Blackbox Exporter, and OpenTelemetry can be combined into a modern observability platform for HCL Domino.
We will explore how metrics, logs, events, and service checks flow through the architecture, including Domino-specific open-source tools such as domprom, domfwd, and otelfwd.
Rather than just demonstrating the tools, we will explain how and why they work together, based on real-world development, integration, and testing. Some of these components are also used by HCL in the Domino Container project.
This webinar will take place on October 22 from 11:00 AM (New York time) to 12:30 PM.
