In our February webinar, longtime community member Bernd Gewehr will present how his company has built sidebar experiences for the Notes client. Bernd is the Head of IT at Vössing, a German engginerring company. He has been a member of the HCL Ambassador program since its inception and before that was an IBM Champion.

"When we changed from Sametime to Zoom for all our employees, we always wanted to have something like a buddylist with personal presence information as part of the Notes UX just like we had previously with the Sametime sidebar. It took a long journey to find a way but now, we have a Zoom presence sidebar in Notes that people adopted quickly. We want to show this and also two ways for developing Notes sidebar experiences: 1) using legacy web apps in Notes XULrunner and 2) by building eclipse plugins with edge webview2 or with equo chromium."
