First Release of the XPages Extension Library for IBM Domino 9.0
Posted by

April 23, 2013
Paul Hannan has published the first release of the
XPages Extension Library
for IBM Domino 9.0. Below Paul describes the release.
"This is the first release of the XPages Extension Library (ExtLib) of the IBM Notes Domino 9.0 code stream. It matches closely the ExtLib that is now part of the core IBM Notes Domino 9.0 release and it includes the Extended Components features – ExtLibX (social enabler and RDBMS). This release also includes a small number of fixes which are not in the IBM Notes Domino 9.0 release.
Installation of this release can be carried out as before with the 8.5.3 versions of the ExtLib – it can be done manually or via the OSGi bundling database (Eclipse Update Site – updatesite.ntf). The OpenNTF 9.0 versions of the ExtLib can run along side or take precedence over the core 9.0 ExtLib. A section titled “Installation Instructions” is include in the
readme.pdf
contained within this release's zip file.
The main intention of this release is to get the ball rolling on the 9.0 OpenNTF releases of the ExtLib and it is envisioned that future releases of this code stream will contain exciting new features along side enhancements and bug fixes."
