As part of the OpenNTF XPages Development Contest sponsored by We4IT, Chintan Parekh has developed a multilingual support system.

The application provides functionality for customers to initiate chats with a support assistant. Since it's common that the support assistant is located in another country, the application uses a Microsoft translation service to translate the text messages in both directions.
