As part of the mobile controls project there is a new release. This release comes with controls to trigger the telephone and Google Maps app from a mobile web application.



Most mobile phones support triggering these standard apps via URI, see here for Android and here for iPhone.

Next week I'll try to publish some more controls plus on Friday a teaser for something bigger we're working on.
