We don't have yet a set of reusable controls to build smartphone apps but we've been asked to make the code available that we used to build the simple OpenNTF smartphone app. You can download this code now from here.

The project contains a very simple sample app for webkit based smartphone devices. The main thing that is demonstrated is the ability to switch between pages without doing a browser refresh. Instead Ajax is used to load the documents. The sample also shows various other smaller things like a stylesheets that looks similar to native apps and how to hide the address bar.
