There is a new project called the Bookmark Viewer for Delicious that displays bookmarks from Delicious in a Lotus Notes sidebar panel. In addition to the visible part there are two other interesting backend components in it:

1. Generic REST client library: The REST client API is a simple implementation to do REST read operations.
2. Derby storage module: To store data locally in the Derby database that comes with Lotus Notes.
