In the IdeaJam in July there were some requests to improve the home pages of projects. With the new project user interface you can put HTML directly in the project description.



When you click on the project description help icon you get this description:

In edit mode you can enter the HTML in the rich text editor:

This allows putting your own custom donate buttons in your project description. Andrew Luder has done this for his DominoDefrag project:

You can also put custom download buttons in this description. David Jeyachandran has done this for his Data Moving Animal project:

This same functionality also allows embedding YouTube videos or slides from Slideshare as done for example in the XPages Mobile Controls project.
