It would be nice to have a "follow" function that would allow me to subscribe to a project and receive notifications of updates, releases, discussions and so on. This could help to increase activity, and perhaps more importantly, community, around a project.

Perhaps a daily or weekly digest might also be a good idea. So I could get one email containing all the updates and activity to projects that I'm "following" .

I like this idea quite a bit. I would also like the addition of an RSS feed to a project not at all unlike the RSS feeds we can subscribe to here in IJ.

I agree there is room for improvement.

When you open a project you can see a 'subscribe to project' RSS feed per project. However the content in these entries are basically just links right now. I should put the feed icon in the browser address bar.

Also we used to have a way for people to define interested projects for which they would get email notifications every time a new document is created (one by one, no summary).
