Get a notification if a new project is created under a selected app category predefined in user profile

Get a notification of a new project. It should be possible to enable or disable any notifications. It should be possible to select one or more application categories.

What do you think about the current categories? Do they still make sense? What about sub-categories, multi dimensions of categories, less categories, etc.

I think OpenNTF has to drop the old cataegories. I'm looking at categories that contain one very old project. For example the "Expense Management" project in the "Expense Management" category. It's just too detailed. Some categories could mean the same, like "Testing Tools" and "Software development tools".

How about create some sort of listing of full applications(ready to use for a production environment and correctly documented), reusable application controls / example projects. From there create max 20 sub categories. Maybe the main categories should be something like the notesappstore ({ Link } but NEVER let the project committer choose his own category.
