Register Phase Listener Programmatically

PhaseListeners can be registered using the faces-config. If for any reason you want to manage it in a Java class, here is the code. Replace XspOpenLogPhaseListener() with the constructor for the relevant PhaseListener you want to register.

Note: if this is done in an OSGi plugin, the PhaseListener is only available until the database gets built. It is not subsequently re-initialised until the HTTP task is restarted. This may limit its effectiveness.
