This xsnippet can be added to any XPage and it will set the view navigation to a more performant one than the default view navigation, "ByPosition", in IBM Notes Domino 9.0.1.
Of course you could just change the view navigation of the whole application by adding "xsp.domino.view.navigator=ByNoteId" to xsp.properties but this option may not be open to you for whatever reason. This xsnippet can be used to change just one XPage.
To see for yourself the better navigation try this xsnippet out on a XPage which contains a viewPanel or Data View which has been configured to use a categorized Notes view as a data source.
