I became aware once I uploaded the first version here that there are other such tools out there either similar to this or as toolbar formulae and they are very nice. I just believe that this offers something a bit different, especially in terms that I allow the user to see the fields and values (of the first document if many are selected) they are updating whilst they are doing so. I also don't leave it to the user to remember or guess form or field names.

In the Help document I mention the security feature that I have commented out that prevents unauthorised use in a “no admin overhead” manner and the agent I use to apply this tool to our database templates. I am happy to explain these further.
This was originally created by me very quickly in May 2000 with just the Update, Append, Add and Delete fields radio button options and has gained the other 10 at intermittent intervals whenever a need has arisen.
